Habit Master

Ready for the challenge?
Most people have at least one bad habit. The world has already invented many ways and written many books on this topic. Based on scientific research, there are several basic ways to break bad habits:✦ Replace.
Research shows that replacing a bad behavior with a good one is more effective than stopping the bad behavior alone.
✦ Track
It's long been recognized that one of the most powerful ways to build new habits is to track when you do them. If you don't keep yourself accountable in some way, you're almost certain to fail.
The competitive spirit has also been proven to help motivate people better. Challenges and their performance are more interesting than just monotonous tracking of habits. Habit Master App was created to improve quality of life, solve problems with motivation, and helps people to change their usual habits. The main feature of this app is the ability to participate in challenges and create their own. This way, users can not only get rid of an old habit but also acquire a new one.For example, instead of wasting time scrolling on the phone, people can read a book.

User Persona

However, during the hectic workday, her resolve wavers, and she frequently reaches for unhealthy snacks. Evenings are dedicated to preparing wholesome dinners and reflecting on her day, yet she feels a persistent need for a more stimulating way to track her progress and maintain motivation.Alex's main challenges include staying motivated to stick to her habits, finding an engaging method to monitor her progress, and overcoming the boredom associated with traditional tracking techniques.

Site Map
As part of developing the Habit Master App, I meticulously crafted a detailed sitemap to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. The sitemap serves as a blueprint for the app's structure, highlighting the primary features and functionalities that users can easily navigate.

Design
When designing the UI for the Habit Master App, I knew the colors needed to reflect its vibrant and dynamic nature, echoing the app's gamification elements. However, balancing this energy with the app's functional purpose was crucial. Too many colors or overly bright shades could detract from its usability.I chose black as the main accent color, providing a sleek and modern touch while ensuring important elements stand out. White serves as the background color, creating a clean and uncluttered canvas that enhances readability and focus. The remaining colors are used thoughtfully as shading or complementary accents, adding bursts of energy and guiding the user's attention without overwhelming the interface. This careful selection and balance of colors ensure that Habit Master is both engaging and user-friendly, striking the perfect harmony between excitement and functionality.

When users enter the app for the first time, they are taken directly to the challenge screen. The user can choose a challenge from the list or create his own.
For example, I want to give up wine and drink more water instead. In the challenge details, the user can read what he or she will receive for completing the challenge and invite friends to join.
As an additional feature in my app, users have to take a confirmation photo when they complete a challenge, but they can always opt out and do it manually.

In the monthly report, users can find the results of past challenges. Since the application is gamified, users receive a certain number of rewards for each successful challenge. They can compare your scores with other users and friends. The application has a profile page where peoplle can change settings and add information at any time.

Accessibility
This project is accessible not only to ordinary users but also to people with color blind.
There are an estimated 300 million people in the world with color vision deficiency. These screens show that people with color blindness could distinguish the main functions of the application just as clearly.
